INTJ and ENTJ: Cognitive Function Analysis
ENTJ's stack is Te-Ni-Se-Fi. INTJ's stack is Ni-Te-Fi-Se. The reversed dominance of their top two functions creates a fascinating dynamic. ENTJ's Te-first orientation means they naturally take charge of external systems — they delegate, organize, and drive results. Their Ni operates in service of this external organizing, providing strategic foresight that informs but doesn't paralyze execution. INTJ's Ni-first orientation means they naturally retreat inward to develop comprehensive models before acting. Their Te operates in service of the vision, executing only after Ni is satisfied. Both carry tertiary-to-inferior Fi-Se (INTJ) or Se-Fi (ENTJ). ENTJ's inferior Fi means they struggle to access their own values under stress, sometimes bulldozing through situations that require emotional sensitivity. INTJ's inferior Se means they can be disconnected from present-moment physical reality, over-indexing on future scenarios. Together, they create a partnership strong on strategic execution but vulnerable in emotional attunement and sensory groundedness.
