INFJ and ENTP: Cognitive Function Analysis
INFJ: Ni-Fe-Ti-Se. ENTP: Ne-Ti-Fe-Si. Like the INFJ-INTP pairing, this couple shares the Fe-Ti axis, but in the ENTP the functions are tertiary and auxiliary rather than inferior and dominant. This means the ENTP has more accessible Fe than the INTP, making emotional connection slightly easier. However, the ENTP's Ti is auxiliary, not dominant, which means they use logic to support exploration (Ne-Ti) rather than as a standalone analytical engine. The Ni-Ne opposition is the signature dynamic: the INFJ's convergent intuition meets the ENTP's divergent intuition. The INFJ sees one future clearly; the ENTP sees twenty possibilities simultaneously. This creates both intellectual chemistry and decisional friction.
